Breath of Fire | Bhastrika

Raise your energy level with this classical hatha yoga breathwork technique, Breath of Fire. An uninterrupted flow of powerful inhales and powerful exhales invigorates the body. You will take full breaths in and full breaths out of the nostrils, moving at a quicker pace than your natural breath. In this video, we invite a rocking in the hips as a variation to move stagnant energy at the base of the spine to support the opening of our channels. This technique is done in a seated upright meditative position. Do not practice this if you are pregnant or menstruating.
