Alternate Nostril Breathing | Nadi Shodhana
This practice can be done during any time of day and is beginner-friendly. It balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain, and the masculine and feminine nadis (energy channels) of the body.
It brings a grounding sensation and calms the mind. Alternate nostril breathing also calms the nervous system, lowers blood pressure, supports a stronger quality of sleep, and reduces anxiety.
